Overview

An SSL certificate enables secure communication between your website and visitors by encrypting data. This protects sensitive information like passwords and credit card details. In this guide, we'll walk you through installing an SSL certificate on your Aveshost account using cPanel.

Steps:

  1. Login to cPanel: Access your cPanel account through your Aveshost control panel.

  2. Locate SSL/TLS Status: In the "Security" section of cPanel, find and click on the "SSL/TLS Status" icon.

  3. Install the SSL Certificate: Check the checkbox before "Domain" to select domains and click on "Run AutoSSL"

  4. Install SSL via Lets Encrypt: In the "Issue a new certificate" section, find the domain name you want the SSL for and click on "Issue" below the action. Click "Issue" again to finalize the installation.
  5. Verify the Installation: Once the installation is complete, you can verify it by visiting your website with HTTPS prepended to the URL (e.g., https://yourdomainname.com). Your browser should display a padlock icon to indicate a secure connection.

Additional Notes:

  • If you encounter any difficulties during the installation process, contact their support team for assistance.
